6 CONTROLS
6.1C OPERATOR PRESENCE CONTROL -
MOTIVAR (OPC) (Fig. 6.1C.1)
Super Certes
By sliding grip A in the direction shown Lever B can
be raised thereby engaging forward drive and
cylinder rotation (Cylinder will only rotate if Cylinder
clutch is engaged see 6.4).
When handle B is released, grip A will spring back
into position, blocking the operation of Lever B. This
operation is the same on both sides of the
handlebar.
Marquis & Super Bowl
The Operator presence control works the same as
the Super Certes (Fig. 6.1C.1). On the Marquis and
Super Bowl this control is only on the right hand
side of the machine.
Landroll Clutch
Marquis & Super Bowl with Motivair operated
landroll clutch
Pulling lever A (Fig. 6.1C.2) towards the grip will
disengage the landroll clutch allowing the machine
to be pulled easily backwards when in confined
areas. This control is located on the left hand side of
the machine.
Marquis, Super Bowl and Super Certes with
cable operated landroll clutch
Pulling lever A (Fig. 6.1C.3) towards the grip will
disengage the landroll clutch allowing the machine
to be pulled easily backwards when in confined
areas. This control is located on the left hand side of
the machine.
6.2 THROTTLE CONTROL (A Fig. 6.2)
The maximum cutting speed can be adjusted by
means of this control. To adjust the engine revs.
move the hand lever downwards to increase or
upwards to decrease the engine revs.
