Keys

Hard keys

There are hard keys on your phone, such as Hold, Redial, Transfer (Xfer), Intercom
(Icom), and Conference (Conf) that are configured for these call-handling features.
These keys are static and cannot be reprogrammed or changed. They are located in two
different areas on the phone.
The Intercom (Icom) feature is currently not available in this version of the 480i IP
phone.

Softkeys

Your 480i has 6 softkey access buttons, 3 on either side of the phone's display. The
softkey menus will change depending on the phone's state, displaying relevant softkeys
only.

Idle State Softkey Display

The Idle State menu appears when your phone is not in use and displays the softkeys.
Your system administrator sets up the softkeys up through the configuration files for your
phone. The following image is of the Idle State screen with some example Softkeys. If
more than 6 softkeys (a maximum of 18) have been set up for you by your system
administrator, More and Back softkeys are displayed on the screen as required. Pressing
the More softkey accesses more Idle State Softkeys on the next screen. Pressing the
Back softkey accesses the softkeys on the previous screen.
