480i SIP IP Phone User Guide Chapter 3 Keys and Functions Keys Hard keys There are hard keys on your phone, such as Hold, Redial, Transfer (Xfer), Intercom (Icom), and Conference (Conf) that are configured for these call-handling features. These keys are static and cannot be reprogrammed or changed. They are located in two different areas on the phone.
Line/call appearance Softkeys appear on the phone’s display as shown in the following image. Icons next to the softkeys within the phone’s display indicate the status for that line or call and have equivalent status to the line/call appearance lights of the hard keys on the phone.
