Port tabs
Select a tab to show the corresponding port details in the display area.
• Serial Port 1/2(NMEA)*: Shows incoming NMEA data for port 1 or 2.
• Serial Port 3(CIF)*: Shows incoming CIF data for port 3.
• Network: Shows incoming NETWORK port data.
*: The bracket indication (NMEA/CIF) changes according to the setting for [Data
Type].

Select to update the display area.

Shows the incoming data details for the selected port.

[Settings]
Access the output settings window for the selected port.

Note: This button is not available for the [Network] tab.
• [Data Type]: Set the output sentence type
• [NMEA Format]: Set the NMEA format to use for data output.
• [Output Data]*: Where [TLL Output] is set to [FURUNO-TLL], select the infor-
• [TLL Output]*: Select which TLL data to output. The data will be output when
• [Baud Rate]*: Set the data transfer speed. Available options are listed below.
• [Start Bit]: Shows the text size of the data to be output.
• [Data Length]: Shows the length of the data to be output.
• [Stop Bit]: Shows the stop bit size.
• [Parity]: Shows the data parity.
*: Where [NMEA Format] is set to [Squid-Fishing], these options are fixed.
To close the [Communication Port Monitor], select the [Close Window] icon (
the top-right corner of the window.
Note 1: When [CIF] is selected as the [Data Type], only [Baud Rate] can be changed.
All other items are gray and not selectable. (See above figure for reference.)
Note 2: Latitude, longitude and water temperature output requires connection to the
appropriate sensors.

Where [Data Type] is set to [CIF]: 600, 1200, 2400, 4800 (bps).
