Note: The engine is protected by a safety cut out which is activated when the blade
becomes jammed or if the engine is overloaded. When this occurs, stop the machine and
remove the plug from the power supply. The safety cut out will only reset when the switch
lever 1 is released. Before continuing to mow, clear any obstructions and wait for a few
minutes for the safety cut out to reset. During this time do not operate the switch lever 1 as
this will prolong the time to reset the safety cut out. If the mower restarts, increase the cutting
height to reduce the load of the engine.

11. MAINTENANCE

WARNING! Before removing the grassbox, stop the lawnmower and unplug it from the
power supply.
Note: AIn order to ensure long and reliable operation of the lawnmower, carry out the
following maintenance tasks on regular basis. Check the machine for visible failures such
as loose, displaced or damaged blade, loose parts and worn-out or damaged parts. Check
whether all covers and guards are undamaged and correctly attached to the lawnmower.
Before using the lawnmower, carry out any necessary maintenance and repairs.
WARNING! For blade replacement, use the services of a professional maintenance firm.
WARNING! Never carry out any assembly operations or adjustments upon energized
lawnmower. Always make sure that the power button is in "Off" position and that the switch
box is disconnected from the power supply.

12. STORAGE

Thoroughly clean the outer surface of the machine using a soft brush and cloth. Do not use
water, solvents and polishing agents. Remove any grass and debris, particularly from the
vents.
Tilt the machine on the side and clean the blade area. If there is compacted grass in the blade
area, remove it using a wooden or plastic tool.
Store the machine in a dry place. Do not place any objects on top of the machine.
Unscrew the handle nuts 4 and fold the upper handles 9.
In folding/unfolding the upper handles, make sure that the cables are not entrapped or
tangled. Do not let the handles fall down.
