Special safety instructions

Do not use for cutting posts, logs or metal.
Never stop the saw blade by applying
pressure to the saw or the side of the blade.
Never use a high-speed steel saw blade.
Never use grinding or cutting blades.
Always use the correct type of blade for the
type of work to be performed.
Never use blades with a maximum rpm less
than that of the tool.
Never use blades that are bent or have
missing teeth.
Never use oversized blades.
Never use a saw blade thicker than the
230 V ~ 50 Hz
cleaver blade.

Always use protective gloves when
5000 rpm
handling the blade. Never put your hand
near the blade or try to remove material

Use a push stick or block to push the item
towards the blade. Never use the guards to
carry or lift the saw.

fi tting saw blades clean.
Never allow the blade to be in contact with

Check that the item to be worked does not
contain nails, screws or other objects that
could damage the blade, and that there are
no such objects on the surface beneath the
work material.
Never put your hands near the blade before
it has completely stopped moving.
As a cross-cut/mitre saw
Never lock the blade guard in its open
position except when changing blades as
described below or when cutting out slots.
Check that the guard can be moved freely
and that the closure mechanism works
correctly before use. Do not use the saw if
this is not the case.
