Static Leases
This option allows fixed IP address and symbolic hostname assignments for DHCP
clients.
To add a static lease, click on .
Enter the desired hostname. Choose the desired MAC address and IPv4-Address. Click
on and select a rule from the drop-down list. If '--Custom—' is selected, the
drop-down list will change to a text box where you then can enter a custom address.
The MAC address is for host identification, whereas the IPv4 address specifies the
fixed address for static lease.
To remove any unwanted static lease, just click on the corresponding button.
Click on after making any changes.
