Use the no feature rip command to disable the RIP feature and remove all associated configuration.

no feature rip
Example:
switch(config)# no feature rip

Creating a RIP Instance

You can create a RIP instance and configure the address family for that instance.

router rip instance-tag
address-family ipv4 unicast
(Optional) show ip rip [instance instance-tag] [vrf vrf-name]
(Optional) copy running-config startup-config
Purpose
Enters configuration mode.
Enables the RIP feature.
(Optional) Displays enabled and disabled features.
(Optional) Saves this configuration change.
Purpose
Disables the RIP feature and removes all associated
configuration.
