Problem
The windscreen wip-
ers do not stop or con-
tinue wiping with the
same speed regardless
of a change in posi-
tion.

The combination switch or rain sensor is malfunctioning.

Stop the vehicle , paying attention to traffic conditions as
you do so and switch off the engine .

For safety reasons, you should remove the key from the igni-
tion l ock and open the driver's door.

Turn the key to position

in the i gnition lock. Then

start t he engine again.

Have the windscreen wipers checked at a qualified special-
ist workshop .
