For easy fastening , the seat bel t is guided
through a belt loop on the side of the driv-
er 's seat.

necessary, pull upwards on t he shoul-
der section of the seat belt to tighten the

Releasing the seat belts

Make sure t hat t he seat belt is fully
rolled up. Otherwi se, the seat belt or
belt tongue will be trapped i n the door or
in the seat mechani sm . This coul d darn-
age the door, the door trim panel and the
seat bel t. Damaged seat bel ts can no l on-
ger fulfil the i r protective function and
must be replaced . Visit a qualifi ed spe-
cial ist workshop.

Belt warning for the driver and front
passenger

belts. It may light up continuously or flash .
In addition, a warning tone may sound.
