You could therefore be locked out
if:
• the vehicle is being pushed .
• the vehicle is being towed .
• the vehicle is being tested on a dyna-
mometer.
You can also swi tch the automatic l ocking
function on and off using the smart Media-
System; see the separate operating
instructions .
Unlocking the driver's door (emer-
gen
lock)
If
you can no longer unlock the vehi cle
using the remote control key, use the em er-
gency lock.
If
you use the key in the emergency lock to
unlock and open the driver 's door, the anti-
theft alarm system will be triggered.
Switch off the alarm

remove the cover from the
emergency lock.
Insert the key into the emergency lock of
the driver's door as far as it will go .

For right-hand-drive vehicles, the key
must be inserted into the emergency lock
of the passenger's door.
Turn the key anti-clockwi se as far as it
will go to position
