Possible causes/consequences and Solutions
ESP® is not available due to a malfunction.
This means that crosswind assist and hill start assist, for
example , are also unavailable.
Further driving systems could be switched off automatically.

The brake system continues to function normally, but without
the functions listed above.
The braking distance in an emergency braking s i tuation can
thus increase.
The brake lamps may not be functioning and t hus no longer
working when braking.
If esp® is not operational, esp® is unable to stabilise the
