Before removing the USB board, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4. Remove the following components:
a. Base enclosure (see
b. Battery (see
c. Hard drive (see
d. Solid-state drive (see
e. Memory (see
f. WLAN module (see
g. Optical drive (see
h. System board (see
Remove the USB board:
1. Disconnect the webcam cable (1) and the USB cable (2) from the system board.
2. Release the cable from the routing (3).
3. Release the USB cable from the tape holding it (4).
4. Remove 1 screw (5).
