Using the remote control for the TV
operation
Operate the remote control by pointing it at the TV.
Remote control

[TV A]
Turns on/off the TV.
[TV/VIDEO] Changes between the TV and
video input.
[CH +/-] Changes channels.
[TV VOL +/-] Adjusts volume.

NOTE
• When the remote control mode selector is slid to
[TV A], some buttons may not work.
Usage

Slide the remote control
mode selector to [STB/
VCR].

Press [STB] or [VCR].

Hold down [STB/
VCR A].
• Hold down [STB/VCR A] until you finish step

Press [ENTER] and release.

Press [the number buttons] to enter
the manufacturer code.
Manufacturer codes for VCRs
Examples:
For a Hitachi VCR: Press [0], then [8].
For a Toshiba VCR: Press [3], then [3].
When the manufacturer of your VCR has 2 or more
codes, select the manufacturer codes in turn and find
the one that operates the VCR and the remote control
properly.
