The printer control panel includes function buttons and status indicators for
printer operations.

6824 Printer Control Panel
Description
Press to turn on the printer or wake it from Sleep mode.
Press and hold for 5 seconds to place printer in Sleep mode.
Hold this button and then press POWER/SLEEP to turn the printer off.
When the printer is idling, toggles between ready and standby modes.
When the printer is printing, press to pause and then resume the print job.
Press to enable alternate functions for programming and setting up the printer.
Press to reverse feed paper up to 17.5 cm (7 in). Use this feature to remove paper from
the printer.
After you load paper, press once to feed paper into the print mechanism.
If paper is already fed into the print mechanism, press once to advance to the next form.
On: Printer is ready to print.
Blinking: Printer is receiving data.
Blinking slowly (once every 10 seconds): Printer is in Sleep mode.
Off: Printer is not ready to print, or current print job is paused.
On: No paper is loaded and printer is empty.
Blinking: Printer error.
Off: No error. Printer is operating normally.
On: Paper is loaded.
Blinking: Printer is receiving data for a firmware upgrade.
Off: Paper is not loaded.
