5 Check the transceiver jumper position on the board.
If you are setting up a thin cable (BNC) network and want to use on-board
termination, you may have to move the jumper. If the jumper is installed at E1, move it
to position E2 to implement on-board termination.
Figure 2-2 shows the transceiver jumper and the E1 and E2 mounting sites.

6 Verify that you have the appropriate cable and connector for use with an AUI network
connection. (This cable is not provided with the board.)
