BEFORE YOU BEGIN
Make sure your smartphone is

connected to a TTY/TDD machine using
the headset jack. When you enable TTY,
all audio modes are disabled on your
smartphone, including holding the
smartphone up to your ear and
listening.
Turn on your phone to access your
•
Phone Settings. See Turning your phone
on.
1 Press Start
2 On the Personal tab, select Phone
3 On the Phone tab, select the TTY/TDD
list and then select either On or Off.
4 If an alert appears, press OK
5 Press OK

Adding contact numbers from new callers
By default, you are prompted to add
contact entries for numbers that are not
already in your Contacts list. You can turn
this feature on or off.
