To set Service/Calibration schedules:
1) Open the menu D D evice – Maintenance, and click on the S S ervice/Calibration
Schedule tab.
2) Modify desired values, and click on W W rite.
3) Click on R R ead, to see the effects of your modification.
4) If desired, activate alerts.
5) Click on S S ervice Performed to reset the schedule.
Device Reset
Factory Defaults
Use D D evice Reset to reset all user parameters excluding device addresses, the parameter
block I I dentification, and Maintenance Schedule parameters to the default settings.
1. Open the menu D D evice – Device Reset and click on O O K to perform a reset to Factory
Defaults.
2. After the reset is complete, upload parameters to the PC/PG. (If you are performing a
reset after replacing the device with a different instrument, do not upload
parameters to the PC/PG).
Configuration Flag Reset
To reset the configuration flag to zero, open the menu D D evice – Configuration Flag Reset
and execute a reset.
D/A (Digital/Analog) Trim
Allows you to trim the 4 mA and 20 mA points in order to calibrate the mA output.
Open the menu D D evice – D/A Trim. You will be prompted to attach a calibrated meter and
enter the values at 4 mA and at 20 mA.
Select AnalogOut
Allows you to select one of three operation types:
• level
• space
• distance
1) Open the menu D D evice – Select AnalogOut.
2) The S S elect AnalogOut window displays the current setting: click on O O K.
3) Select the desired option, and click on O O K.
4) The S S elect AnalogOut window displays the new setting: click on O O K.
