Detection settings
The detection settings of the fire detection can be changed in the configuration menu:

General and special settings for Fire detection are selectable.
The IVA functions and the video-based fire detection settings can be changed during operation
and will immediately become effective.
8.1
General settings
There are many ways to adapt the flame and smoke detection to the requirements of the
customer. Sensitivity, minimum size and verification time can be set globally for the detection
algorithm.
8.1.1
Sensitivity
By setting Sensitivity, the sensitiveness of flame or smoke detection can be set. The default
value is mid. With a software slider you can choose the following options:
low
mid (default)
high

Min. Size
Minimum flame size
Minimum flame size can be set with a software slider. The range is defined from 1.1% to 2.0%
of picture width. The default setting of the flame size is 1.56% of the picture width. A red icon
at the bottom of the picture visualizes the setting in the original size.
Minimum smoke size
Minimum smoke size can be set with a software slider. The range is defined from 1.56% to
3.13% of picture width. The default setting of the smoke size is 2.34% of the picture width. A
yellow icon at the bottom of the picture visualizes the setting in the original size.

Verification time [sec]
Flame verification time
The verification time of the flame detection can be set to 4, 8, 12 or 16 seconds. The default
value is 8 seconds.
Smoke verification time
The verification time of the flame detection can be set from 5 to 30 seconds. The default value
is 15 seconds.
