To configure a JNI™ FCE6410 fibre-channel adapter connected to the 9900V:
1. Log in as an administrator.

Note: jnifc-2.2.14-5.0smp-vs is an example of a module name for smp kernel. If you use
a different module name, change the name in the example accordingly.
Note: When you are loading the Qlogic
the JNI driver.
3. To set the topology with a directory including jnifc-2.2.14-5.0smp-vs.o, execute the
following command: insmod jnifc-2.2.14-5.0smp-vs.o jnil116x='lport:0'
Note: There is no way to verify the current setting on a module that has already been

/sbin/rmod jnifc-2.2.14-5.0smp-vs.o.
4. Execute the following command to create boot image:

label= jni_nport
root=/dev/sda7
read-only
6. Execute /sbin/lilo.
7. Reboot the server.
