    Batteries for portable computers are covered under warranty only during the initial 1-year period of the limited warranty for the computer.     Using an incompatible battery may increase the risk of fire or explosion. Replace the battery only with a compatible battery purchased from Dell. The lithium-ion battery is designed to work with your Dell™ computer. Do not use a battery from other computers with your computer.

Each light represents approximately 20 percent of the total battery charge. For example, if the battery has 80 percent of its charge remaining, four of the lights are on.

    Before you can connect to a wireless Local Area Network (LAN), you must have specific information about your network. Be sure to get the name of your wireless network along with any special security settings from your network administrator. The settings are unique to your network and cannot be provided by Dell.
