Battery

If the indicating device does not switch on, recharge the battery using the
power supply, see chapter "2.1 Installation".
The battery can be replaced with another Equotip Lithium-Ion battery.
NOTE! If the operation time of the battery is shortening no-
ticeably, order a new battery. The battery lifetime has expired
when the LED does not go off even though the battery has
been charged for several days.
Danger: Only use the power supply (12 V, 5 A) to charge the
Equotip 550.

Touchscreen Calibration
In very seldom cases, or when a protective screen foil is used, it can be
necessary to re-calibrate the Equotip 550.
To do so, press and hold the middle hardware button (Fullscreen) for 10s.
During the calibration process, don't touch the display unit, as it can bias
the calibration.

Equotip Link Software
11.1
Starting Equotip Link
Locate the file "Equotip Link Setup.exe" on your computer or on
the DVD and click on it. Follow the instructions on the screen.
Make sure that the "Launch USB Driver install" tick is selected.
Double click on the Equotip Link Icon on your desktop or start the program
via the start menu.
11.2
Application Settings
The menu item "File – Application settings" allows the user to select the
language and the date and time format to be used.
