Diagnostics

Run diagnostic tests if you are having problems with your drive. There are two
types of diagnostic tests:
▪ : Checks the hard drive for major performance problems. The result of
Quick Test
a quick test is a pass or fail evaluation of the hard drive's condition. The quick
test can take several minutes to complete.
▪ : Is a more comprehensive drive diagnostic. It methodically tests each
Full Test
and every sector of the hard drive. Once the test is performed, the condition of
the hard drive displays.
To complete the test, make sure the drive is plugged into AC power.
Note:
Product Improvement Program
