Using the Setting Change Switches

Change the status of the ETERNUS AF to maintenance status.
Use the pin to push down the MNT SW (maintenance switch) for three seconds.
The ETERNUS AF is in maintenance status when the MAINTENANCE LED is green.

Use each switch to change settings.
Switching the Master CM to the other controller
Use the pin to push down the MNT SW (maintenance switch) twice within three seconds.
The MASTER LED for the controller that is set as the Master CM is green.
Restoring the factory default settings of the LAN ports
Use the pin to push down the IP RST SW (IP reset switch) three times within three seconds.
After the default settings of the LAN ports are restored, the MAINTENANCE LED blinks green a few
times a second for several seconds.
Restoring the factory default user settings
(1)
Remove all the LAN cables from the LAN ports (MNT ports and RMT ports) of all the controllers.
(2)
Use the pin to push down the IP RST SW (IP reset switch) five times within three seconds.
After the default user settings are restored, the MAINTENANCE LED blinks green approximately every
second for several seconds.

Release maintenance status.
Use the pin to push down the MNT SW (maintenance switch) for three seconds.
The MAINTENANCE LED turns off, which indicates that the ETERNUS AF is no longer in maintenance sta-
tus.

Attach the front cover and the flange cover.
