Selecting a location

To maximize the talking range of the
cordless handset, install the machine
in a high and central location away
from obstructions such as walls.
♦
Keep the machine away from other
electrical appliances such as TVs,
microwave ovens, computers, and
other cordless phones.
♦
Do not place the machine in direct
sunlight, or near heaters or air
conditioners.
♦
Keep dust away from the machine.
About condensation
If the machine is moved from a cold to a
warm place, condensation may form on the
scanning glass, preventing proper
document scanning. To remove the
condensation, turn on the power and wait
approximately two hours before using the
machine.
