Phonebook options menu
After you have selected an entry in the
phonebook, any of the actions below
can be performed.

With the exception of "VIEW",
"SEARCH ENTRY" and "CALL", the
actions below can only be performed
in the cordless handset's phonebook
(not the machine's phonebook).

Select an entry in the phonebook
(press to open the phonebook,
and press or
entry appears).

Press (Option).

Press or until the desired option
below appears.
VIEW: View the information stored in
the selected entry.
CALL: Call the number of the
selected entry.
EDIT ENTRY: Edit the entry (see the
editing procedure on page 24).
SEARCH ENTRY: Search for
another entry.
RINGER TYPE: Select a particular
ring tone that will ring on the
cordless handset whenever the
party of the selected entry calls you.
(Caller ID is required; see page 62.)
ADD NUMBER: Add another
number to the entry.
NEW ENTRY: Create a new entry in
the phonebook.
until the desired
DELETE ENTRY: Delete the
currently selected entry.

Press (Valid.) to select the
option.

After you have performed the
action, press
phonebook.

Call Log

The cordless handset keeps a log of the
most recent calls that you have made
on the cordless handset (outgoing call
log). You can view this log and
automatically dial a number from the
log.

If you subscribe to a Caller ID service
and have activated the Caller ID
function from the menu settings of the
machine (see page 62), you can also
view the incoming call log, which is
the Caller ID list that is kept in the
machine. (This list shows the most
recent 30 calls received by the
machine; see page 63).
