Ringer Types
This menu lets you select the ring tones
that signal calls, and activate/deactivate
the beeps that sound on the cordless
handset.
Changing the ring tone (ringer
type)
You can select the ring tones that signal
incoming calls and intercom calls.

Press or until "RINGER TYPE"
appears and press OK.

Press or to select "EXTERNAL
CALL" or "INTERNAL CALL"
(intercom calls), and press
(Valid.).

Press or to select the desired
ring tone, and press

Press or to select the desired
ringer volume, and press
(Valid.).

To exit the menu, press

KEYTONE: The beeps that sound
when keys are pressed.

BATTERY LOW: The beeps that
sound when the battery is low.

CHARGER: The beep that sounds
when you place the cordless
handset in the charger.

An information screen indicates the
current status of the selected beep
type ("ON" or "OFF").

To change the status, press
(Edit). The status changes on the
screen. Press

(Valid.).

To exit the menu, press
Use this setting to turn off all sounds
made by the cordless handset,
including the ringer, beeps, and alarms.
Important: This setting turns off the
alarms of any alarm or timer functions
that you have activated.
