To fix a Document Jammed error on the Sharp UX-8:
1. Grasp the finger hold and pull up to open the operation panel.
2. Flip up the green levers on each side of the white roller.
3. Remove the jammed document.
4. Close the operation panel, pressing down on both front corners until it clicks into place.
Important: Do not try to remove the document before releasing it using the steps above, as this may damage the feeder mechanism.
