Controlling Your TV or AV Receiver (Amplifier) with the
Supplied Remote Z
If you adjust the remote signal, you can control your TV
with the supplied remote. The default setting is to control
Sony TVs with the
mark.
When you connect the player to a Sony AV receiver
(amplifier), you can also set the input of the receiver
(amplifier) to this player with the supplied remote .

Slide the TV/DVD switch to TV.

Hold down ?/1 (POWER), and enter your TV's
manufacturer's code (see the table) using the
number buttons. Then release ?/1 (POWER).

If more than one code number is listed, try entering them
one at a time until you find the one that works with your
TV.
Notes
• If you enter a new code number, the code number previously
entered will be erased.
• When you replace the batteries of the remote, the code number
may reset to 01 (Sony). Reset the appropriate code number.
When you set the TV/DVD switch to TV, you can control
your TV using the keys below.
