The selection lever
must stay in the
right position during the
flow rate test.
The manometer
must be observed
continuously and the
pressure regulated by
using the control valve if
necessary.
With increasing temper-
ature the pressure also
increases, if necessary
readjust the pressure to
8 bar.
With a flow below
95 ml the pump is
defective or there is a
leakage in the fluid sys-
tem. Large fluctuations
in the pressure gauge
readings (± 4 bar) during
measurement are indica-
tive of a defective pump.

17. Wait until machine is in eco mode.
Then unplug coffee machine.
18. Watch manometer for 30 sec.
The system is leakproof, if the
pressure drop is less than 1.5 bar
within 30 sec.
Start hot water pressure test and flow
rate measurement:
21. Switch ON resp. plug in coffee
machine again.
22. When machine is ready, set bar
display to level 7 with selector wheel.
23. Push selection lever to right position
"HOT". Machine starts rinsing.

19. Release the pressure by opening the
pressure control valve completely.
20. Empty recipient and place it back
under test device.
24. Adjust pressure control valve to a
pressure of 8 bar.
25. Check flow rate at 8 bar during 30 sec.
The flow rate at 8 bar has to be
within the following limits:
150 - 250 ml/min
The volume after 30 sec has to be
within the following limits:
75 - 125 ml
