Site Survey

Cisco recommends that you perform a radio site survey before installing the equipment. A site survey
reveals problems such as interference, Fresnel zone, or logistics problems. A proper site survey involves
temporarily setting up mesh links and taking measurements to determine whether your antenna
calculations are accurate. Be sure to determine the correct location and antenna before drilling holes,
routing cables, and mounting equipment.
