The voltage specified in the technical data must correspond with the local power supply.
Ensure that the electrical plug connections are located in a flood-proof area and are protected
from moisture. Power cords and plugs must be checked for damage before use.
The end of the connector cable must not be submerged in water, otherwise water can get into the
motor terminal compartment.
The electrical connection must be made in accordance with the local regulations of the EVU or VDE. The supply
voltage and frequency are indicated on the nameplate of the pump and the switching device. The voltage
tolerance must be between 6% to -10% of the supply voltage. It is important to ensure that the data provided on
the nameplate corresponds with the existing power supply. The lifting systems require no further motor protection.
The device is connected to the mains via the shockproof plug.
5.4. Initial operation
Never allow the pump to run dry for a prolonged period of time (risk of overheating).
Plug the power cord into a grounded outlet; the lifting system is now ready for use. The pump starts working as
soon as the water level has reached the starting level in the collection container. Once the water level reaches the
stop level, the pump switches off.

6. Maintenance

6.1. General

The entire system must be inspected and maintained at regular intervals.
The following points must be noted:
The operating instructions must be available to the maintenance personnel and must be followed.
Only maintenance work and measures listed here must be carried out.
All maintenance work, inspection work and cleaning work on the machinery and the system must be
carried out with due diligence, at a safe working place and by trained qualified personnel. The
required protective gear must be worn. The machinery must be disconnected from the power supply
for all work. Unintentional start must be prevented.
Electric works on the machinery and the system must be carried out by a specialist.
If easily inflammable dissolvers and cleaning materials are used, open fire, open light and smoking
are prohibited.
Ensure that the required tools and materials are readily available. Tidiness and cleanness ensure
safe and proper work on the machinery. Remove used cleaning materials and tools from the
machinery after the work has been carried out. Keep all materials and tools in a dedicated place.
A test run or function test of the machinery must only be carried out according to the general operating
conditions!

6.2. Maintenance schedule

Every six months:
Visual inspection of the power supply leads
Clean the collecting tank

6.3. Maintenance work

Visual inspection of the power supply leads
The power inlet leads must be inspected for bubbles, cracks, scratches, scour marks and/or crushing zones. If
damages are detected, the damaged power inlet lead must be replaced immediately.
The leads may only be replaced by the manufacturer or an authorised/certified service workshop. The
machinery must only be started after appropriate repair of the damage!
Visual inspection of the cable holders (biners) and the wiring (traction cable)
