MAINTENANCE
COOLING SYSTEM HOSES
Inspect the hoses for cracks, deterioration or leaks,
and repiace if necessary. Check the hose clamps, and
tighten i f necessary.
BATTERY
Rernove the left side cover.
inspect the battery electrolyte level. When the
electrolyte level nears the lower levei mark, fill with
distilled water r o the upper level mark.
I f sulfation forms on the battery walls or sediments
(paste) accumulate on the bottom of the battery,
replace the battery.

BRAKE FLUID
Check the front brake fluid reservoir level.
If the level nears the lower level mark, fill the
reservoir with DOT -3 Brake Fluid to the upper
level mark. Check the entire system for leaks, if the
level is low.
UPPER LEVEL MARK
CAUTION
*Do not remove the cover until the handlebar
has been tuned so that the reservoir is level.
,eAvoid operaling the brake lever with the cap
removed. Brake fluid will squirt out if the
lever is pulled.
