3.5 Preparing the drive unit for use
1. Remove the four M8 nuts
2. Remove the handle
3. Remove the 3 pin connector from the controlboard
3.6 Fit the chair base
The height of the seat is set as standard in the factory to the middle position. This can be adjusted
according to the customers height. Adjust the chair base height according to section 3.8 if needed.
Use the installation joystick to drive the unit down
the track, use the adapter (1000217) to connect
the joystick to the controlboard. (if you have
installed it from the top side / when it has a
vertical start) until it reaches the charging
contact. (If the unit is installed from the bottom
side, drive the unit past the charging contact,
and drive it back onto the charging contact.)
When the drive contacts touch the reset contact
on the rail, "rSt" is shown in the drive display.
This resets the internal counter and the drive now
knows where it is on the rail.
1. Remove the chair base from the box.
2. Remove the cover under the seat on the chair
base.
3. Lift the seat onto the seat flange.
4. Screw the M8 nuts onto the protruding
threaded ends. Use 20Nm to tighten them.
5. Connect the wire for the User interface.
6. Refit the cap under the chair base.
7. Estimate the size of the user.
8. Adjust the seat position as necessary
(section 3.8 and 3.9).
9. Check the length of the safety belt. Adjust
this if necessary (section 3.10).
