    Bluetooth devices send out weak signals of 1 milliwatt. Your GoBook MR-1 is a Class II Bluetooth device with a range of about ten meters. Even with the low power, the walls in your house won't stop a Bluetooth signal. This makes the standard useful for controlling several devices in different rooms.

Maintaining this wireless connectivity over a wide area is fundamental to the usefulness of the network. This makes the scope and reliability of radio coverage a primary concern.
