During call hold, the two parties in the call cannot hear each other.

If your phone has been assigned two or more calls and one or more of them are idle, you can
place a new call after you place your current call on hold. For details about how to place a new
call during call hold, see

To place an ongoing call on hold, tap Hold.
To resume a call placed on hold, tap Resume.
6.3.6 Initiating Another Call While on a
NOTE
l You cannot end a call that is placed on hold by yourself. If the call placed on hold is the only call on
your phone, the phone reminds you that there is a call on hold by means of periodic sound notifications.
l When multiple calls are connected on the phone, you can tap the line button to hold or resume a call.
