vessel as close as possible. To calibrate the soundome
in bearing refer to menu number 1, item 12 dome offset.
Attach the hoist flange to the seachest with bolts and
tighten. Tighten all bolts on the angle legs and cross
supports.
12.0

JUNCTION BOX INSTALLATION

12.1 The junction box contains the hoist control board
and the transmitter/receiver board. Select a convenient
location close to the hoist assembly that can be reached
by the soundome cable. Do not extend the length of the
soundome cable as it may introduce noise and shorten
range performance.
12.2 Do not install the junction box in the fi sh hold or
cold storage area.

HYDRAULIC POWER PACK
INSTALLATION M6, M8 & M18
The hydraulic power pack can be installed directly on the
hoist or bulkhead.
13.1 Hoist installation:
Locate the angle leg labeled pump. Align the two holes
on the angle leg with the holes on the bar bracket on the
side of the hydraulic pump. Use the hardware supplied
and tighten. Make sure the hydraulic hose on one side
does not come out the same side as the limit switches.
13.2 Bulkhead installation:
For bulkhead installation the hydraulic lines may need
to be longer. Locate an area where the hydraulic power
pack can be installed where the hydraulic lines have
free movement. Use the mounting bracket attached to
the motor to bolt to the bulkhead.

SOUNDOME WIRING

Route the soundome cable through the left large strain
relief in the bottom of the Junction Box.

SPECIAL NOTE:
To raise the M6, M8 & M18, maintain a vessel speed
of 8 knots or less.
