SPECIAL NOTES:
HYDRAULIC HOIST SYSTEM
HYDRAULIC PUMP INSTALLATION
1) For shipping, the plastic thumb screw on the reservoir
of the Hydraulic Pump has been temporarily replaced with
a metal screw. This screw keeps the reservoir from leaking
when the hydraulic motor is removed from the hoist system.
After installing the hoist system, replace the allen screw
with the plastic thumb screw.
2) The plastic thumb screw is vented to air so that the
hydraulic reservoir can breathe. This is necessary for proper
operation.
3) The hydraulic system is tested and calibrated at the
factory before shipping. The hydraulic system should not
require any more oil. If the hydraulic lines (hoses) have
been lengthened, the reservoir will require more oil.
