cold storage area.

CONNECTING POWER TO
THE HOIST CONTROL BOARD
Note: The ram hoist is shipped in the down position.
As soon as power is supplied to the hoist board, the
ram hoist will start to raise the soundome. Switch the
circuit breaker off before connecting hoist voltage.
The hoist control board is the same for 12VDC or
24VDC operation. Only the hoist motor must be or-
dered for 12VDC or 24VDC operation.
The power source for the hoist system does not
have to be the same as the power source for the
console. Use the wire chart on Page 33.
Route the hoist power cable through one of the small
strain reliefs in the bottom of the Junction Box.
For DC hoist, attach positive [+] lead to Terminal 30,
and negative [—] to Terminal 31.
Be sure of correct polarity.
The hoist control board is fused with a 15 amp slow blow
for both 12VDC and 24VDC operation.

SOUNDOME WIRING

Route the soundome cable through the left large strain
reliefs in the bottom of the Junction Box.
Connect the numbered lugs of the soundome to the
same numbered terminals on the Hoist Board in the
Junction Box.
Place the urethane strain relief on top of the soun-
dome tube.
Use a knife and cut down one side of the strain relief.
Open the strain relief at the cut and push it around
the soundome cable. Slide the strain relief into the
soundome tube.
