on the side. Make sure when fi tting
the tube clamp on the angle legs that
one of the holes is to the right of the
angle leg that has the limit switches
installed. Do not bolt at this time.
6. Attaching Soundome to Soundome Tube
6.1 The FT soundome bolts directly to the
welded stainless steel fl ange on the
soundome tube. Run the soundome
cable through the soundome tube start-
ing at the fl ange and out the other end.
6.2 Clean the top of the soundome and
remove any debris from the surface
and 'O' ring. Align the mounting holes
of the soundome to the holes of the
fl ange.
6.3 Apply anti-seize to the bolts and tighten
evenly.
7. Installing the Hydraulic Ram
7.1 Remove the strain relief at the top of
the hydraulic ram end cap.
7.2 Run the soundome cable through the
strain relief. The hydraulic ram has
an indentation where the soundome
cable fi ts in at the opposite end. With
the soundome cable in the indentation,
slide the hydraulic ram into the soun-
dome tube at the same time pulling the
cable through the strain relief. Slide
the ram in until the top of the ram end
cap is just above the soundome tube.
7.3 Rotate the ram end cap so the holes in
the side align with the holes on the side
of the soundome tube and tube clamp.
Important: To keep the hydraulic lines
from crossing, the ram end cap must
be aligned correctly. Correct alignment
has the soundome cable strain relief of
the ram and cap just in back or to the
left of the angle leg that has the limit
switches attached.
