2. a <Using the electric starter>
With the throttle closed, press the
starter button.
b <Using the kickstarter pedal>
Lightly depress the kickstarter until
resistance is felt.
Then let the kickstarter return to the
top of its stroke.
With
the
throttle
the kickstarter.
Kick from the top of the stroke through
to the bottom with a rapid, continuous
motion.
3. Immediately after the engine start,
operate the choke lever to keep fast idle.
4. About 15 seconds after the engine start,
move the choke lever right all the way
to fully OFF (B).
5. If idling is unstable, open the throttle
slightly.

1. Follow Step 1 & 2 from "Normal Air
Temperature" starting procedure.
2. When engine speed begins to pick up,
operate the choke lever to keep fast idle.
3. Continue warming up the engine until
it runs smoothly and responds to the
throttle when the choke lever is at fully
OFF (B).
