8.11. Control system

The microprocessor-supported control system ensures the safe and automatic opera-
tion of the pellet stove. The start phase, heating phase and cooling phase parame-
ters are preconfigured. Individual settings required for operation can be adjusted by
a trained service technician and to some extent by the user. A fuse (T4A) is installed
in the control system to protect it against overvoltages.

8.12. Rear-ventilated pane

In comparison with conventional stoves, the level of false air passing through the
pane is very low and this can eventually lead to faster formation of deposits on the
pane, hindering visibility. However, the low level of false air during combustion en-
sures a high degree of efficiency and low emissions.

8.13. Flue connection

The flue must be connected to the chimney according to local regulations. Please
contact your Calimax sales partner or appropriate local authority if there are any
questions. Because the pellet stove operates with a flue gas fan, excess pressure
may occur at the flue gas outlet and possibly in the chimney. This means that the flue
gas lines must be sealed gas-tight up to the chimney entry.
