8. Components
8.1. Pellet tank
Up to 30 kg pellets can be stored in the pellet tank. This quantity allows continuous
operation for up to 60 hours.
8.2. Screw motor/Screw conveyor
The screw motor drives the screw conveyor which conveys the pellets from the pellet
tank into the burn grate. If foreign objects in the pellets or an accumulation of saw-
dust block the screw conveyor, such obstructions can usually be easily rectified by
rotating the screw motor back and forth. Any screw motor malfunction will be de-
tected by the control unit and the cooling phase will be initiated as a safety mecha-
nism.
8.3. Burn grate
The burn grate ensures clean and extremely efficient combustion of the pellets
through its special design. Only the correct and clean condition of the burn grate
can guarantee problem-free operation of the pellet stove.
