5.3. Initial commissioning

− The operating instructions must be read carefully before the initial start up of the
pellet stove.
− Remove the cleaning tool from the ash pan.
− Pass the room temperature sensor through the rear panel.
− Mount the cladding - Never operate the stove with the rear open.
− Connect the pellet stove correctly to the chimney.
− Fill the pellet tank with standard wood pellets (6 mm diameter).
− Check that the burn grate fits accurately in the holder and is lying on the seal.
− Close the combustion chamber door.
− Connect the stove to the power supply with the supplied mains cable. The mains
plug socket must remain accessible after connection.
− Press the Start button. After the Start programme sequence is complete, the control
system will automatically select the required heating output.
Possible malfunctions during initial start up:

Note
It may be possible, during the initial start up, that too few
wood pellets have been conveyed into the burn grate so no
flame can be formed.
1. Switch off the stove.
2. Once "Stove off" appears in the display, remove all pellets
in the burn grate.
3. Switch the stove back on again.
Ensure the installation room is well ventilated during the
initial start up. Vapours, and therefore some odours,
may be released from the paint during the initial oper-
ating hours while the device is warming up.
