8-2-89. Indoor unit EEV OPEN error

Judgment method
Causes
1. Judge Method
1) Detected only in cooling mode.(Not detected in heating mode, main heating mode, main cooling mode)
2) The temperature of inlet or outlet of stop indoor heat exchanger maintains for more than 20 minutes below 0˚C
in cooling mode.
2. Check method
1) Check whether the EEV wire is connected correctly to the indoor unit PCB.
2) Check whether the EEV coil is inserted to the main body correctly.
3) After pressing the reset key(K3) of outdoor unit, check if the same error is occurred.
G If it is the CLOSE error, operate the corresponding indoor unit.

G If it is OPEN error, turn the power of corresponding indoor unit off to check.

4) If there is no trouble for the above checks, replace the EEV of the corresponding indoor unit.
G Since the replacement of EEV is the inconvenient work to collect the all refrigerant in the system, be sure to check the

above items before replacing EEV.
