Replacing front indicator lamp and position light lamp

NOTE
The front indicator lamp and the position light lamp are replaced in the same
way. The procedure is described for changing the front indicator lamp.
Replace indicator lamp as follows:
1.
Turn lamp holder anti-clockwise as far as it will go and take it out of the lamp
housing.
2.
Pull defective light bulb out of lamp holder.
3.
Insert new light bulb into the lamp holder.
4.
Insert the lamp holder into the lamp housing and turn clockwise as far as it will go.

Replacing fuses

ATTENTION
Always replace defective fuses with fuses of the same type and rating. Only
use fuses with the specified ampere rating.
Never bridge nor repair fuses.
If the new fuse fails after a short time, have the vehicle checked immediately
at an authorised Arctic Cat specialist repair shop.
NOTE
In all models except XR/Alterra, the fuses are located in a fuse box under-
neath the seat. In all XR/Alterra models, the fuses are located in a fuse box
in the tank covering. In the event of an electrical defect, check the fuses first.
Replace fuse as follows:
1.
Switch off all power consumers.
2.
Remove seat (refer to section 4.20).
3.
Press locking latches on both sides of the fuse cover and remove fuse cover.
NOTE
A defective fuse can be recognized by the interrupted fuse wire.
4.
Remove defective fuse.
5.
Insert spare fuse with the correct ampere rating.
6.
Check functioning of the power consumer.
7.
Position fuse cover and press downwards until it engages.
8.
Install seat (refer to section 4.20).
