Keypad and Function Buttons The Model 6292 can be operated and configured using the alphanumeric keypad. The keypad enables you to name objects (groups of tests) and enter the date/time, and the function buttons let you select a number of configuration settings.

Establishing Communication to the Instrument Connect the instrument to the PC with the supplied cable. Double-click the Micro-Ohmmeter icon in the DataView folder that was cre- ated on the desktop during software installation to open the Control Panel. From the menu bar, select Instrument, then click Connect to open the Con- nection dialog box.
