TROUBLE SHOOTING

PROBLEM
1. Spark plug wire disconnected.
2. Out of fuel or stale fuel.

CAUSE
correctly.
REMEDY
1. Attach the spark plug wire securely to
the spark plug.
2. Fill with clean, fresh petrol.
3. Choke must be positioned to ON for a
cold start.
4. Clean the fuel line.
5. Clean, adjust spark plug gap, or replace.
6. Wait a few minutes to restart, but do
not prime.
1. Connect & tighten the spark plug wire.
2. Move the choke lever to OFF.
3. Clean the fuel line. Fill the tank with
clean, fresh petrol.
4. Drain the fuel tank. Refill with fresh fuel.
5. Clean or replace the air filter.
6. Refer to the Engine Manual.
1. Fill the crankcase with proper oil.
2. Clean the air filter.
3. Remove the housing and clean.
4. Refer to the Engine Manual.
1. Check oil level with dipstick, top up with
correct hydraulic oil, without over filling.
2. Remove the log from the table. Remove
the bleed screw completely. Start the
engine. Operate the machine, raising &
lowering the ram it's full distance 5-6
times. Stop the engine. Refit the Bleed
Screw & check the oil level. Top up with
correct hydraulic oil, without over filling
if necessary. Re-start engine & attempt
to split log.
3. Adjust silver nut, located at the top of
the block rod, which runs down the back
of the log splitter.
1. Replace.
2. Check hydraulic oil level & top up if
necessary.
