To assign IR User controls to an input device:
1.
Select the input device for which you will assign a control from the Input drop-down menu.
2.
Click on the User control link at the top of the Status page (FIG. 26):

This link opens the User Control page (FIG. 27).
Each Key represents a button on the selected Remote Controller

The availability of the User Control feature depends on the functionality of the remote controller
currently selected. For example, User Control is not available for Sky+, Tivo or DirecTV remotes.
If any of these are selected as the Remote type, the User Control option is not displayed on the
Status page.
Select an Input (Input Device) from the drop-down menu for each Key
Select a Control (IR command) from the drop-down menu for each Key
of the Control for each Key
Key - This column represents the keys on the UDM-RC02 Remote Control. The following table
provides the key layout for the RC02:

Input - This column indicates the Input Device to which each Key/Control is associated. Select an
Input Device from the drop-down menu. The devices available for selection are defined in the
Devices page (see the Configuration - Devices Page section on page 39 for details). "Input" refers
to devices connected directly to the UDM Hub (Inputs A-B),
Control - IR Commands are selected from the Control drop-down menu (provided for each Key).
