Installing and Removing DIMMs
Position the DIMM module's
bottom key so that it aligns
with the receptive point on
the slot.
Notches
Push a lock/release tab to the
Release
release position. Make sure
that the side notches of the
DIMM module aligns with the
lock/release tab of the slot as
Release
it is pressed in.
Lock/Release Tabs
Insert the DIMM module verti-
cally and press down until the
module snaps into place.
Press Down
When the module is prop-

erlly inserted, the lock/re-
lease tabs will automatically
secure the DIMM module,
locking it into place.

To Remove:
Use your thumbs to gently
Release
push the lock/release tabs
near both ends of the module.
This should release it from the
slot. Pull the DIMM module
upwards.
